Thanks folks...I feel truly blessed to have had a fine player like Ken review that guitar. He's a class act all the way. I wasn't expecting such a positive review, because I'm such a nasty critic of my own work. I was pleasantly suprised.

What's next? I have three potential sales looming, all guitars that are in progress. If any of them happen, they will be my next focus. If not, I'll be finishing up a Black Acacia / Italian Spruce OM that I've had in the works. I also have to start a new project for a woodworking guild here in Rhode Island. I'm the guest speaker for their March meeting, and I need to have something to show them that is in the works. Any suggestions? Whatever it is...it needs to have a redwood top! I have lots of that great stuff!

Ken is indeed a true Gentleman. A Christian man, he's a very kind person, quiet, contemplative, and intelligent. A class act. That's one of the reasons I wanted to have him try out this guitar. I knew I would get honest, heart-felt feedback. No holds barred. He has a cool little studio at his home too. And quite a great guitar collection!
BTW, his main axe is his Osthoff these days. That thing holds it's own very well.

Bruce,
I think that is one of the reasons why I have stuck with Lutherie as a hobby, because of the helpful community, and the willingness to promote each other. Like Paul Woolson once said, that Luthiery is the only job where all ideas are shared. I think it makes us all better builders.(I mean everyone except me )

Tracy, you are too humble. Walk with a wise man and you become wise. Walk with a luthier and you begin a race to see who can get the most tools, wood stash, and kudos. Just kidding. We do enjoy it when someone of us has some success. And Tracy, you can't fool us, you got the goods too, we've seen it.

Got over there to read the article. Congratulations! Well deserved. That kind of feedback must really leave a person feeling pretty darn good. Makes it all worthwhile.
